Every year as of recent, Architectural Digest has been doing some of a top 10 list, or more top 20 list, of buildings, architects and architecture that is changing our world, inspiring and beautiful. This is really a bigger, more compete version of the back inside page of the glossy that has for years been the one pager spread for one building at a time. For the most part, those who compile the list have been right on in their praise, picking out those projects that are way worthy of note, also fully covering the globe, pointing to projects that might fly under the radar of the ordinary news outlets that we all read on a daily basis. Here at Circa Design we are going to use those project they’ve earmarked as a launching off point for our articles on the same – ie. we’ll be focusing on those projects and hopefully giving them even a bit more coverage and contribution, something of a one stop resource. So far as we look at the current list to cover there are going to be a lot of names we’re all familiar with – Daniel Libeskind, Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano and some maybe not so recognizable, Shigeru Ban, Dominique Perrault.
Have fun and enjoy, if you want the quick rundown in our archive (as it develops) we’re going to create a separate tag for it which can simply be found at “AD”.
