Having switched our attention, at least for the time being from European country estates and lavish Hamptons homes, we’ll return to Litchfield County. This all makes sense if you remember that one of our very recent previous properties was a French estate in Canaan. Coming just a tad bit south to Salisbury, one of the absolute premier properties of the neighborhood which comes on and off the market seeming every year, yet doesn’t really sell is the Ragamont House right in the center of the town.
There doesn’t seem to be any particular reason for the house to not sell, other than perhaps an owner who may or may not want to actually part with the property. This feels like one of those moments where they list it just to see what kind of offer they get and then when season rolls back around they pull it off the market.
Regardless. The house itself is a historic landmark… The interiors should probably also be landmarked. Hope you enjoy these.
