After having escaped the pillow fort and feeling re-energized to continue our work, hiding in pillows and peeking out from the cracks the natural progression was to think that something a little more grown up might do, if at least with a few more amenities. Regardless of how awesome the pillow fort might have actually been, it was still necessary to go back out in to the living room to take care of nature – ie use the potty.
A new track to explore for a little while, Safari Camps. There’s this awful movement of tiny houses and smaller living, but what’s so bad about big living, in the great outdoors. Safari camps are some of the best ways to live within nature and in fact live in a relatively confined space. Most of the ideas and images we’ve already been surfing aren’t going to work in a big city environment, but sure are nice to look at. So you can either get amped about going on vacation, or maybe trying a toned down version in your own backyard.
For anyone who lives up north and wants to remind us that it’s getting pretty cold out, yes, we are aware of that, maybe not the best for thinking about outdoor living, but hey, this is a project, and spring is only a few months away.
