There’s something about the general style of South East Asian design that is so easy and laid back. While it may look luxurious when broken down in to their component parts, the pieces to the puzzle are usually pretty straight forward and less very quickly becomes more. Here the house is an open white box with floor to ceiling doors and windows, opening up the home to the pool deck, the thatch roof is utilitarian, but also sets the tone as being casual. The center piece of the pool is a simple rectangle. The few trees help to break up the straight lines, there’s really only three small ones in the backyard and a few small palms dotted here and there.
Not much more too it, the look and the style is very distinctive, but not hard to achieve.
