Haven’t gone solar yet, still living in a fossil fuel powered world? Aren’t we all. If you haven’t taken the plunge and installed solar on your home yet, despite the fact that we’ve basically spoon fed you ideas here at our Green Living section and even more so having provided a completely separate Environmental Resources section, then spring is a great time to think about and make that call.
Easy enough, you’re looking for a fresh start, the flowers are hopefully starting to maybe come out where you live, the weather is warming up. You feel good. Spring also means that there will be more sunlight, slowly making its way towards your roof. If you live pretty much anywhere in the US, by the time summer rolls around, you are going to want to turn on your air conditioning. You will probably want freezy drinks and if you have one get the pool powered up. All of that energy you’ll be using, you could start to offset the initial costs of a solar PV system by installing now.
We can make a shameless pitch here, which we were in no way compensated for, and tell you to go check out Tesla and their solar PV systems.
