We fully understand that this might be a bit of a departure from our usual Veranda ramblings, but with good reason. We try to showcase ideas and designs that are a little more in touch with something that anyone might be able to do for themselves, so clearly a public commercial space like Lincoln Road in Miami probably might seem “off”. Greater Miami and Miami Beach are the South Florida Cities that are literally constantly in flux, changing and making an effort to adapt to the environment around them, in many ways this probably explains why Miami makes so many people uncomfortable, constant change can in many ways be seen as someone, or something searching for a soul. Within the constant change though there is a general positive direction or momentum. Slowly good things come out of the mess.
Lincoln Road has long been the main drag of Miami Beach, at this point the prices per square foot of real estate are truly astronomical and in no way justify anyone opening a shop or restaurant along the strip, we don’t particularly care for the economics so much as the architecture and design.
